DARK BARGAIN
Before taking a turn with these Vorh Scirh Clerics, you may place a Demon Hero you control adjacent to a Vorh Scirh Cleric you control and take a turn with that Demon Hero. If that Demon Hero wounded a figure that turn with a normal or special attack, you may move and attack with up to 3 Vorh Scirh Clerics this turn. If it did not wound a figure, destroy the adjacent Vorh Scirh Cleric you control and take a turn with them normally. Figures moved this way never take leaving engagement attacks.

INDOCTRINATION
If a Vorh Scirh Cleric that you control destroys an opponent’s small or medium figure, replace that figure immediately, if possible, with one of your own previously destroyed Vorh Scirh Clerics. Newly placed Vorh Scirh Clerics cannot attack this turn. Undead and Soulborgs are not affected by Indoctrination.

TRAMPLE

DRAGON LOYALTY 
At the start of the game, choose a Unique Dragon Hero you control. While that Dragon is in play, all Icarian Hookmasters roll one additional attack die for each Wound Marker on the chosen Dragon. There can be only one Dragon for all the Icarian Hookmasters you control. Icarian Hookmasters cannot attack their chosen Dragon.

DETAIN
After attacking with these Icarian Hookmasters if you damage a figure, you may remove one unrevealed Order Marker at random from that figure’s Army Card (or cards if your opponent has more than one Common Army Card for that figure). You may only remove one Order Marker per turn when using Detain.

Q: If my chosen Dragon Hero is destroyed, may the Icarian Hookmasters choose another unique Dragon hero with which to synergize?
A: Nice try. The wording on the card is "At the start of the game, choose a..." Once the chosen hero is destroyed, the Icarian Hookmasters are left without a Dragon Hero.

DRAGON LOYALTY vs. MINDSHACKLE, SOUL-DEVOUR
Q: If my chosen Dragon Hero has his mind shackled or his soul devoured, do the Icarian Hookmasters still receive their Attack bonus?
A: Yes. Similar questions have come up in the past, centered on the Macdirk Warriors. The adapted ruling from their book is "The Mindshackled hero is still the Dragon Hero for the Icarian Hookmasters." The Icarian Hookmaster may, therefore, still receive their Attack bonus from a Mindshackled/Soul-Devoured Dragon Hero.

LOYALTY TO THE Hybrid KING?
Q: If my chosen Dragon Hero has its left-box information altered by the Werewolf Lord's LYCANTHROPY, is he still the Dragon Hero?
A: Yes. The Dragon Hero is chosen at the start of the game, and remains the Dragon Hero, even if his information is altered.

DETAIN
Q: If I damage 2 different figures using Detain can I remove a OM from both cards?
A: No, you can not. You can only apply Detain to one of the damaged figures cards, as you can only remove one OM per turn with Detain.
Q: If I destroy a figure in a common squad can I still use Detain to remove a OM from its card?
A: Yes, even if the figure is destroyed you can remove a OM. This is helpful against all squad figures (common, uncommon, unique) and against figures with the Rejected By Death special power too.

    LURKING AMBUSH
    If Zhk’zhr starts his turn unengaged and on at least one shadow or swamp water space, for this turn add 1 to Zhk’zhr’s movement and add 3 to his Attack value.

    HIDE IN SWAMP
    If Zhk’zhr is attacked with a normal attack and at least 1 skull is rolled, roll the 20-sided die. If Zhk’zhr is on a swamp space, add 3 to your die roll. If he is on a swamp water space, add 6 to your die roll. If you roll 1-15, roll defense dice normally. If you roll a 16 or higher, ignore all damage that would be inflicted by the attack.

    GRIEVOUS WOUNDS
    If a figure is wounded by a normal attack from Ardathanatus and does not have an Order Marker on its Army Card it receives 1 additional wound.

    ENSLAVE SOUL
    Ardathanatus starts the game with 3 Enslave Soul Markers on his Army Card. If an opponent’s Unique Hero receives at least 1 wound from Ardathanatus, you may place an Enslave Soul Marker on that figure’s Army Card. If that figure is destroyed at any point in the game take control of the chosen figure and that figure’s Army Card.
    You now control that Army Card and all figures
    on it. Remove any Order Markers from that
    Army Card. For the duration of the game all of that figure’s special powers are lost, and that figure loses its Species, Class, and Personality. Instead, it has the following characteristics:
    • Species: Undead
    • Class: Slave
    • Personality: Tormented
    Enslave Soul never affects Constructs, Soulborgs, and destructible objects.

    MASTER OF SOULS
    After revealing an Order Marker on Ardathanatus, before taking Ardathanatus’s turn, you may first take a turn with any Undead Figure you control with an Enslave Soul Marker on its
    Army Card.

    Upcoming Wave 6 and Neutral Figure Rules

    Most of the this is long over due and I simply have not made time to really work on Heroscape stuff for a while, but the COVID-19 Pandemic has given me a little more time to do so and I figured those that are sheltering at home for the rest of this month like my family could use some new figures to try out during this time.

    So Wave 6 is here with a new set of Rules to go along with it. It introduces Neutral Figures: figures/units that do not belong to a Valkyrie General/faction such as Elementals, Constructs, or factions native to Valhalla that are enemies to the Kyrie such as the Durgeth. It also introduces Uncommon Squads, which behave just like Unique Squads but you can draft multiple copies. These rules will be important for the Master Set that I have been working on for a number of years now. 

    Here is the rule book for Neutral Figures and for Uncommon Squads.

    Below is a picture previewing the units that will be included in this wave. 


    Look for a new figure each week day starting on the 13th through the rest of the month and stay safe. And for you Disney lovers I hope you enjoy Gaston from yesterday.

    BEAST HUNTER
    At the start of the game, you may choose one opponent’s Unique Beast or Prince Hero as Gaston’s Prey. When a numbered Order Marker is revealed on the Prey’s card, you may immediately move Gaston up to 3 spaces. When moving with Beast Hunter, Gaston is never attacked when leaving engagements. If Gaston attacks his Prey, he may attack his Prey one additional time.

    2020 First Update

    Well it has been a busy new year so far. I got a 3D printer (ender 3) for Christmas which has been a ton of fun! Unfortunately it is just creating more and more things to paint and add to the back log of projects I have.

    Now having the ability to 3D print I have been printing the Hyground Tiles Tree Fort! I have been wanting this since Hyground first showed the idea back in 2014...I can't believe it has been 6 years. I can't wait to finish it and build a huge forest map to play on. Here is what I have printed so far:






    So the large trees in the back are the Hyground Tree Fort Set. Pictured with them are to Hedrons that I printed and painted, the one to the left I have added some vines made from green stuff and plants that match the Ticalla Jungle set. Also is a fire pit printed and painted made to fit around a tea light. Next row pictures more printed trees that I scaled to fit Heroscape: Deciduous and Pine. Finally I printed the tops of the Ticalla Jungle Trees! I have the bases and trunks already made back from 2014 or 2015...can't quite remember. 

    Also I just got the IDW TMNT Adventure System game! This is the 2.0 version (I also have the original) and the scale issues have been resolved, mostly, and there are a ton of great minis that I will be able to utilize for both that game and for my TMNT Heroscape customs. I didn't take any pictures of it though as it is already packed away as we prepare for a move in the coming months. I did however mix my own first 3D model using Meshmixer to create the Mutant Drill Module!


    Pictured with the custom made Bebop and Rocksteady for scale. This is something that I have been really wanting for quite sometime and now it is complete. Credit to the creators of the various files I use to make it are as follows: Termite Assault DrillBig Daddy Drill, Crater, 7-hex tile.

    Here's to hoping that the busy start leads to a busy year of completing a lot of projects...but it did take me 4 months to get this posted so we will see how it goes.
