LOYALTY TO THE BEAST PRINCE
At the start of the game choose a Unique Beast Hero you control, to be Princess Belle’s Beast Prince. Princess Belle and the chosen Beast Prince roll 1 additional attack and defense die when they are within 2 clear sight spaces of each other. You can choose only one Beast Prince for Princess Belle.
BEAST PRINCE BONDING
Before taking a turn with Princess Belle, you may first take a turn with her chosen Beast Prince if it is still under your control.
FAIRY TALE HEARTBREAK
If Princess Belle’s chosen Beast Prince is destroyed, Princess Belle immediately receives 2 wounds.

LOYALTY TO THE BEAST PRINCE: Return of the Prince?
Q. If my chosen Beast Prince is destroyed, may Belle choose another unique Beast hero with which to synergize?
A. Nice try. The wording on the card is "At the start of the game, choose a..." Once the chosen hero is destroyed, Belle is left without a Prince.
LOYALTY TO THE BEAST PRINCE vs. MINDSHACKLE, SOUL-DEVOUR
Q. If my chosen Beast Prince has his mind shackled or his soul devoured, does the Greenscale WarriorBelle still receive her Attack and Defense bonuses if her Beast Prince is within 2 clear-sight spaces?
A. Yes. Similar questions have come up in the past, centered on the Macdirk Warriors. The adapted ruling from their book is "The Mindshackled hero is still the Beast Prince fortBelle." Belle may, therefore, still receive her Attack and Defense bonuses from a Mindshackled/Soul-Devoured Prince as would the Beast Prince receive its Attack and Defense bonuses (they would not, of course, and as per the card, be able to bond. The fact that this clarification is right in the bonding text is even further evidence that the bonus still applies).
LOYALTY TO THE Hybrid PRINCE?
Q. If my chosen Beast Prince has its left-box information altered by the Werewolf Lord's LYCANTHROPY, is he still the Beast Prince?
A. Yes. The Beast Prince is chosen at the start of the game, and remains the Beast Prince, even if his information is altered.
