I had the fortune of getting together again with my Brother in Law and had another massive Heroscape weekend, which included continuing our Lord of the Rings campaigns by playing peterparkerh's Mines of Moria Campaign. You can find the PDF here on Heroscapers.com.
Again we used my LotR customs to play the complete Fellowship. It was a lot of using the synergy from them along with Gandalf's Bonding ability to use multiple Heroes at a time. And I finally tested out the Balrog! He needs some tweaking to dial in his points still.
We also put together a Isengard map to test out Treebeard and the Ents! It was also a lot of fun, but the Ents, like the Balrog, need some adjustment to abilities and points to help them play better.
All in all it was another great weekend! It has been nice to play Heroscape again and work on my customs. Hopefully, this trend will continue into the New Year, I can't believe that 2025 is just a few days away.
