VORTEX WINDS

Instead of moving and attacking, you may place any or all figures that are not huge and are adjacent to Gale up to 3 spaces from their original placements. Moved figures never take any leaving engagement attacks but will take any falling damage that may apply. Roll an unblockable attack die, one at a time, against each placed figure.

STEALTH FLYING

When counting spaces for this Gale’s movement, ignore elevations. Gale may fly over water without stopping, pass over figures without becoming engaged, and fly over obstacles such as ruins. When Gale starts to fly, if it is engaged it will not take any leaving engagement attacks.

The defending figure compares height to the lowest Card Soldiers to determine any height advantage. If Encircle Special Attack is used, the 4th and 5th figure that moved this turn cannot attack.

SHUFFLE

After a Card Soldiers  you control rolls defense dice against a normal attack from an opponent’s figure, you may move any 5 Card Soldiers you control up to 4 spaces each.

Choose a Card Soldier figure you control that is within 5 clear sight spaces of Queen of Hearts and roll 3 attack dice, one at a time. For each skull rolled, you may inflict 1 wound on any small or medium figure that is adjacent to the chosen Card Soldier figure. You may inflict more than 1 wound on a single figure using Off With Their Head Special Attack. Defending figures cannot roll any defense dice. After attacking with Off With Their Head Special Attack, destroy the chosen Card Soldier figure.

WATER BREATH BLAST SPECIAL ATTACK

Range Special. Attack 3.

Choose up to 4 spaces in a straight line from Jiaolung. All figures on those 4 spaces and all figures adjacent to those 4 spaces are affected by this special attack. Each figure rolls defense dice separately. You may place each small, medium, or large affected figure that receives one or more wounds from this special attack on an empty space up to 3 spaces from its original placement. A figure moved by this special attack never takes leaving engagement attacks and cannot be placed closer to Jiaolung than its original placement.

 

FLYING

BOULDER THROW  

Instead of attacking, Noroth may use Boulder Throw. Choose a figure within 5 clear sight spaces of Noroth. Roll the 20-sided die. If you roll a 1-8 the figure is safe. If you roll a 9-16 the figure receives 1 wound. If you roll a 17-20 the figure receives 2 wounds.  If Noroth inflicts at least one wound using Boulder Throw on a unique small or medium figure, place a gray marker on the chosen figure’s Army Card. For the rest of the round a figure with a gray marker may not move.

 

STONE HARD

When rolling defense dice against a normal or special attack, Noroth always adds 1 automatic shield to whatever is rolled.

FIRST UPDATE 2022

Well 2021 came and went without any Heroscape for me. New jobs and family have kept me very busy and I have spent my hobby time painting larger scale figures for the Power Rangers Heroes of the Grid game. Luckily my oldest daughter was wanting to get out the Disney Heroscape stuff and play a few games with me, so it got me back to finishing up a few things...but I still have over 80 classic Heroscape  units designed, painted and needing painting, testing, and final cards made. It is never ending at this point.

Anyways here are some pictures of the figures that I finished and will be sharing soon from my Large Expansion 3: Anund Siege.
