National Heroscape Day Utah 2013

We had another successful National Heroscape Day here in Utah...making it the 3rd that I have attended and the first that I have hosted. We had a small turn out but had a great time and everyone was able to play 5 rounds.

Even though I wasn't able to repeat as champion, my wife was able step up and bring home the beloved National Heroscape Day trophy...which will be getting a major face lift for next year. As promised here is the Army that I took:

UPDATE

It has been a few weeks since I have had time to do anything Heroscape related...school and real life have been crazy busy! But I did get a few games in, here and there, to start getting ready for National Heroscape Day (NHSD). Normally, NHSD is near the end of October, but I am hosting it this year and because of scheduling issues we have moved it to the 16th of November. Here is a picture of 4 of the maps that we will be using.

I am planning on giving a full report of the event once it occurs, and then I will also give the break down of the army I played with. As of now I am still tweaking and deciding on what I will take.

It is a really fun army to play and I had two shut-out games using it. I don't think I will repeat as Champion this year but I am really excited to have day of just playing Heroscape...then I can get back to my custom projects.
